Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. has launched THERMOFRONT™. This brand makes sheet insulation that is both sustainable and high in performance. The new insulation gives warmth for apparel. It uses advanced fiber work while keeping the environment in mind. THERMOFRONT™ meets the need for insulated outerwear that is comfortable, functional, and green.

Sustainable Composition and Innovation

• THERMOFRONT™ uses over 70% ECOPETⓇ Recycled Polyester Fiber.
  Teijin makes this fiber to cut environmental harm.
• The fiber shapes are hollow and cross-sectional.
  This design boosts heat retention over regular polyester sheets.
• It uses advanced nonwoven fabric methods.
  The unique fabric design and sheet processing bring out the best in the fibers.

THERMOFRONT™ Sub-Brands

   • It uses OCTAIR™, a hollow 8-fin cross-sectional staple fiber.
   • This fiber helps keep the insulation bulky yet light.
   • It is made with 100% recycled polyester.
   • The insulation stays warm for a long time.

2. THERMOFRONT™ SL

   • It mixes SOLOTEXⓇ (a spring-like polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber) with AEROCAPSULE® γ ECO (a spiral, hollow fiber).
   • This mix gives softness, helps the fabric keep its shape, and keeps wearers warm.

3. THERMOFRONT™ BE

   • It uses BEMBERG® (made from regenerated cellulose cupro fiber) with AEROCAPSULE® γ ECO.
   • This blend absorbs and releases moisture to stop sweat discomfort.
   • It is made from 97% recycled polyester and regenerated cellulose.

Production and Market Goals

Production starts in Japan and China. It will grow to Vietnam and Europe later.
The aim is to sell 300,000 meters in fiscal 2025. This will grow to 1 million meters by fiscal 2028.
The focus is on outerwear for sports, outdoor, and casual uses.
